Effective date: July 7, 2026. Reynolds Services, Inc. (“RSI,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy covers our website (rsi.biz) and the RSI Tools application (tools.rsi.biz). It explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are a business-to-business metal solutions company.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. When you submit a contact, quote, or document request form — or email or call us — we receive what you provide: typically your name, company, email address, phone number, and the substance of your inquiry.
- Website usage information. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — which pages are visited, for how long, and from what type of device. This involves cookies/identifiers and standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) processed by Google on our behalf. Our hosting provider also processes standard technical data in the course of serving the site.
- Forms, maps and spam protection. Our contact and compliance forms are processed and stored by our own website. The forms use Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection, and our contact page embeds Google Maps — Google receives standard technical data (such as your IP address) when these load. Career applications are handled by our HR provider, Paylocity, whose own privacy policy applies on its pages.
The RSI Tools app (tools.rsi.biz)
- No account, no sign-in. The app works without any registration. Calculator inputs are processed on your device and are not transmitted to us.
- Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which tools are used and how the app performs (for example, which calculator tabs are opened). This involves cookies/identifiers and standard technical data processed by Google on our behalf.
- Notifications (optional). If you enable notifications, your browser creates a delivery token with its push service (Apple, Google, or Mozilla, depending on your device). We store that token, your browser/device type, and the sign-up date — none of which directly identifies you, and we store no name or email with it. Turning notifications off in your browser or uninstalling the app invalidates the token; expired tokens are removed automatically.
- What’s New inbox. Announcements shown in the app are public content; your read state is stored only on your device.
- Feedback (optional). The feedback form sends us your message and, only if you choose to provide it, your email address — used solely to respond to you.
- Offline storage. The app stores its own files and your preferences on your device so it works offline. That data stays on your device.
- Security logging. We keep limited, short-lived technical logs as needed to protect our services from abuse.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiries, prepare quotes, and provide requested documents.
- To send notifications you have opted into (you can withdraw at any time).
- To operate, secure, and improve our website and tools.
- To keep business records as required for our operations and by law.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
How information is shared
We share information only with service providers who help us run our website, the RSI Tools app, and our business — such as website hosting, form processing, and email services; Cloudflare (delivery and security for the RSI Tools app); Google (usage analytics); Paylocity (careers); and the Apple/Google/Mozilla push services (notification delivery, for users who opt in) — and only as needed for them to do that work. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Data retention
We keep correspondence and inquiry records as long as needed for the business relationship and our record-keeping obligations, then dispose of them.
Your choices and rights
- Notifications: disable them in your browser or device settings, or uninstall the app.
- Analytics: browser settings and extensions can limit analytics cookies.
- Do Not Track: like most services, we do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals; the choices above are the effective controls.
- Your data: contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, or to request correction or deletion. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law; we honor valid requests. Contact info@rsi.biz or (724) 646-2600.
California residents
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended) gives you specific rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to know/access: request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, our purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom it was shared.
- Right to delete: request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing: we do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of.
- Right to limit sensitive personal information: we do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA.
- Non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Categories we collect (and have collected in the preceding 12 months): identifiers and contact information you provide (name, company, email, phone, address on compliance requests); commercial information (the substance of your inquiries); and internet activity information (usage data as described above). We collect no sensitive personal information and no biometric, geolocation, or inference data.
To exercise these rights, email info@rsi.biz or call (724) 646-2600. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days (extendable once with notice). We will verify your identity using reasonable measures matched to the request — typically by confirming control of the email address associated with our records. You may use an authorized agent with written permission.
Where information is processed
We are a United States company; information we collect is processed and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using our website or tools, you understand your information will be handled in the United States as described in this policy.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work with established providers and limit access to those who need it.
Children
Our website and services are intended for business use and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
